Ben founded Acorn Creek Advisors to provide his clients with tailored, thoughtful multigenerational advice with an intense personal focus. As president, he helps set the tone for a client-first approach and proactive service model.
Ben began his career at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2006, and founded The Loeffler Group in Fort Collins, Colorado. He was named to the Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Advisors list from 2018 through 2023.* He holds the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC™) and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor® (CPFA®) designations. Ben attended Berry College, where he received a BA in English with minors in Business and Psychology.
Ben excels at being the primary resource for his clients’ full financial life. His dedication to his clients transcends the traditional wealth management role and encompasses all aspects of their financial world: wealth preservation, liability management, family transitions, executive decisions and philanthropic endeavors. He takes the time to understand each client’s goals and dreams as well as life challenges so that he can deliver relevant and impactful advice. His clients always come first.
While Ben's extensive credentials inform his wealth management process, his engaging demeanor encourages collaborative conversations with invited family members and other key advisors. He welcomes diverse perspectives and open dialogue to best understand each client's particular vision of wealth management and wealth transfer.
Ben actively integrates his professional life with his personal life through his engagement in the community. He has served on the boards of many nonprofit groups, and is the former president of the Fort Collins Symphony. In 2020 Ben was given the Poudre Pioneer Award for his collaborative work on the Poudre River Whitewater Park. Ben and his wife, Katie, spend their free time enjoying the Colorado outdoors with their two sons, Bryce and Bodhi.
